Our Commitment to Conscious Fashion

At Velvet Stories, we believe that fashion should never come at the expense of animals or the planet.

That’s why we proudly use vegan leather, crafted from a patented blend of non-animal materials. This innovative material combines natural cotton fibers with recycled polyester, using PU (polyurethane) and PVC (polyvinyl chloride) as a base — all carefully selected for their durability and lower environmental impact.

Unlike traditional leather, our vegan leather is 100% cruelty-free, requires less maintenance, and is highly resistant to tearing, fading, and mold. It’s also fully waterproof, making it as practical as it is beautiful.

Our collections are designed by a passionate team of creatives in Cologne, who shape each piece with purpose and precision. We then collaborate with a select network of small, ethical factories in Hong Kong, with whom we've built long-standing relationships based on quality, fairness, and shared values.

We personally use our bags in daily life to test, refine, and perfect the details — because we only offer what we truly stand behind.
